Robert Mawire
WRNO Worldwide was the first commercial short wave
radio station to be established in America during the Cold War.
He is a cofounder with the late Mayor Ron Nachman of the technological
transformation of the city of Ariel, Israel into today’s leading Smart City in the world. His collaboration with
Mr. Amiram Shore, Exceptional New Technologies engineered a paradigm shift in how cities can improve
availability and accessibility of city services while at the same time eliminating the information “black
hole”.
In 2000, he formed Gerizim Group to take exceptional new technologies to the emerging markets due to
his extensive relationships with technology consortiums and many heads of state. His entrepreneurial
perspective came out of his profound knowledge of the felt needs of the developing countries and how
modern technology could minimize human suffering and raise the standard of living.
Biography:
Dr. Robert Mawire is a respected international speaker on transformation and his work has been
published by several publications and has been featured on national and international television
networks. He was educated in Australia and completed advanced studies both in the United States and
Australia. He is married to Janet and has three sons and six grandchildren.
Professional Life:
Over 30 years ago, he created Hope for Africa, an NGO that has served the felt needs of people groups
in over 35 countries throughout Africa. He received commendation from the late President Ronald
Reagan for his work in Africa.
Dr. Mawire is a respected advisor to political and corporate leaders, an executive coach for business
owners and chief executive officers. The Knesset and the World Jewish Congress have granted him a
Life Long achievement Award.
